Shawn Manderson is a technology, governance, and risk executive with 20 years of experience across big-four consulting, industry and professional services. He presently serves as Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management at ADP, Inc., the leading global human capital management software company.  Shawn is a 2003 graduate from the College of Information Sciences and Technology (IST) with a bachelor’s degree, minoring in Business Administration.  He holds both a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) certification designation.

An alumnus of Penn State University, from its Brandywine campus, Shawn previously served on the Penn State Brandywine campus Advisory Board (2014-2023) and was chair of the Student Experience Committee. He established the Leadership and Legacy Excellence Program Fund in 2022 to improve student leadership and faculty and staff career development and as ‘Open Doors Scholarship’ in 2018 as part of the ‘Greater Penn State’ campaign.

Shawn served on the Penn State Alumni Association, Alumni Council's executive board (2007–2020), representing Brandywine as Alumni Society president, and chaired the audit and risk and membership committees. Shawn was awarded the 2020 Outstanding Alumni Council Member of the Year by the Penn State Alumni Association and in May 2018, Shawn was presented with the first-ever Penn State Brandywine Lion’s Heart ‘Young Alumni Award,’ at their 50th Anniversary celebration, for his outstanding professional achievement, dedication to community service, and impact within the Penn State community.

A native of New York City, currently residing in Providence, RI with his wife and two young sons, he also currently serves as a Board of Trustees member for the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA.
